Is everything really free?
Yes. Selling is not allowed on Dibs Free – no prices, no "best offer". If someone asks for money, report the post.
Where does Dibs Free work?
We're starting in Houston, TX and the surrounding area. More cities follow once Houston is buzzing.
Who gets the item if many people call dibs?
The poster decides. Everyone who called dibs shows up in their inbox, they chat and confirm one person. The item is then marked reserved.
Will people see where I live?
No. Regular posts show an area that's blurred by about 500 m. You share the exact address in the chat, only with the person you picked. Curb Alerts are the exception – they show the spot on the street, because that's where the stuff is.
What's a Curb Alert?
A heads-up about free stuff left on the curb. Anyone can post one. It disappears after 48 hours, or sooner when people tap "Gone".
Is there an Android app?
We're launching on iPhone first. Android is on the list.
How do I cancel Dibs Pro?
Dibs Pro is billed through your Apple ID. Cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Settings → Account management → Delete account. Your posts and chats are removed.
