About us

Every week, perfectly good stuff ends up on the curb or in a landfill, while someone a few streets away needs exactly that. Dibs Free makes giving it away as quick as taking a photo, and getting it as easy as a swipe.

Why we built it

Free stuff groups are full of "Is this still available?", no-shows and people trying to sell. We wanted one place that is free only, fast, and fair: you swipe, you call dibs, the giver picks who gets it, done.

What we care about

• Free means free. No prices, no haggling, no "best offer".
• Privacy first. Your home is never shown on a map. You share your address only with the person you choose.
• Less waste. Every couch picked up is one less in the landfill.
• Good neighbors. Ratings, reporting and blocking keep it friendly.
